Institutions of the Crown
ZWÄANĀ has not lost a war in twenty-two millennia, largely because very few people have been able to find it to start one. The Kingdom’s defence rests on three services: the Royal Guard, who protect the Crown and the capital; the Border Guard, who hold the frontiers; and the Pug Intelligence Unit, which observes everything else from a low vantage point.
The Royal Guard prefer not to be counted. The Border Guard prefer not to be seen. The Pug Intelligence Unit has declined to comment.
