This is the official website of the Kingdom of ZWÄANĀ.
How to recognise an official royal website

Official websites of the Kingdom carry the royal crest, the five bands of the national flag and a document reference on every page. They never ask for your TBT. If a website claims to be the Crown and asks for your bank details, it is not the Crown, and the Pug Intelligence Unit would like a word.

Cookie policy

No advertising cookie, no third-party tracking cookie. Here is everything the site keeps in your browser.

The site uses no advertising cookie and no third-party tracking cookie. Its own audience measurement sets no cookie at all (see the Privacy policy, section 2.2).

What the site keeps in your browser

  • zw_citizen (cookie, ours): keeps a citizen signed in to the Civic Hall, not readable by scripts. 30 days, renewed while you use it.
  • zw_applicant (cookie, ours): keeps a citizenship application between the confirmed registration letter and the payment of the fee, not readable by scripts. 24 hours.
  • Administration session (cookie, ours): signs in the team to the administration. Never set for visitors. 8 hours.
  • zw-gate-seen (local storage): remembers that you have already passed the entrance gate, so that it can greet you with "Welcome back". Until you clear your browser data.
  • zw-gate-visit (session storage): shows the entrance gate once per visit. Until you close the tab.
  • zw-install-dismissed (local storage): remembers that you dismissed the suggestion to install the site as an app. The suggestion returns after 14 days.
  • zw-basket and zw-basket_secret (local storage): the identifier and private key of your basket. Until the basket is cleared or you clear your browser data.
  • Offline copy (browser cache): if you install the site or are offline, a copy of pages and files already visited. Never of the administration, API calls, basket, checkout, orders, Civic Hall or document verification.
  • Stripe cookies (Stripe): fraud prevention while a payment form is displayed, under Stripe's policy.
  • Twitch, YouTube and Vimeo cookies (the provider): only after you press play on one of their players, under the provider's policy.

Why no consent banner

Our own items are needed for a service you ask for (signing in, paying, keeping a basket) or only remember a choice of display, stay in your browser and are never used to follow you. No item is used for advertising or for tracking across sites.

How to remove them

You can delete cookies and site data at any time from the settings of your browser. The site keeps working; you will simply be greeted again as a first visitor.
